Students in the President's Leadership Program are eligible for a $500 to $2,000 scholarship, to be applied directly toward a CNU credited, foreign, academic experience. Effective June 2003, eligibility for the scholarship is determined by meeting the following criteria:

• Status as a full time student in good academic and social standing, within both the University and the President's Leadership Program (reference President's Leadership Program contract).
• CNU academic credit must be awarded for the experience, either directly or through transfer credit from another institution.
• The experience must involve travel to a foreign country.
• The applicant must reside on campus at CNU to claim scholarship through the President's Leadership Program.
• The applicant should be a returning 3rd or 4th year student who is registered for a full course load the semester following the study abroad experience.  Students who fail to return to CNU as a full time student following the study abroad experience will be billed for the full scholarship amount.
• The applicant must have consistently demonstrated good citizenship within the President's Leadership Program.
